other后面可以加名词复数或单数，表示其他的，没有范围。
e.g.She was crying when other people laughed at her.
others是名词性物主代词，所以后面不能加任何名词，也没有明确的范围。

这个的话一般是在完形填空吧。选择题现在比较少。考点太多。

我个人感觉都是有范围的，只是明不明确的问题。
像第一个例句，other people没有指明是哪里的people，可以是天上飞的，地上
跑的，水里游的。而第三个例句the other members 是明确指的my family.
所以选择的时候要看具体的语境，结合上下文来填空……
