"Critical" as used in the expression "critical thinking" connotes the importance or centrality of the thinking to an issue,question or problem of concern."Critical" in this context does not mean "disapproved" or "negative."
Critical 修饰 thinking,它的意思就是强调思考之于问题解决的重要性,甚至可以不翻译出来,直接把critical thinking理解成“思考,思考能力”就可以了.具体到西方背景下,这种貌似我们天朝惯常所说的“思考能力”实际是抛开偏见成见先见的束缚,独立自主,不用某种思想来指导的思考.

批判性思维（critical thinking）是一种基于充分的理性、事实、而非感性和传闻来进行理论评估与客观评价的能力与意愿。

CriticalThinking在英语中指的是那种能抓住要领，善于质疑辨析，基于严格推断，富于机智灵气，清晰敏捷的日常思维。
