过去分词可以看做一个形容词或者是定语从句,比如the boy selpt is my brother. selpt是后置定语,修饰boy,就相当于who is sleeping,翻译成就是那个睡觉的男孩是我的弟弟
过去分词短语作定语要放在被修饰的名词后面，作后置定语，其作用相当于一个定语从句。例如： The student dressed in white is my daughter.
"dressed in white " 就是过去分词短语作后置定语。
