当用右手定则判断磁场方向时,每一个点处的磁场方向取决于该点处圆形磁场的切线方向.光看导体周围的整个磁场确实呈圆形,但注意磁针（compass）仅仅位于磁场中的一个点,要determine该点处物体所受磁场的方向,只要看磁场经过该点的瞬时切线方向朝向哪里.
由于磁针位于竖直导体的西面且最终N极指向南面,说明磁场经过磁针所在点时的方向是由北向南.我们把前后左右那个面作为东西南北面,上下方向作为电流方向,可以看出当经过导体正左边一点时磁场是由前指向后的.用右手螺旋定则判断大拇指必须指向上方,故选B up.
