Trees also hold the soil in place and prevent flooding by absorbing water.They shade our homes,causing us to use less energy.They provide habitat for many species of animals,and trees provide essential products such as fruit,nuts,timber and many other products we use every day.
Trees are our friends,that is why we should stop people from cutting trees.The 5th of June in every year is the World Environment Day.It has become a tradition that learned people get together on this day and discuss how to help the environment.There are also special days for planting trees in each country,and the date had been set as 12th of March in China since 1915.
