Save the environment ,Save ourselves.
My fellow classmates,
Good morning.Today I'd love to introduce my topic here--- "Save the environment ,Save ourselves".
Nowadays many people are on fire for fighting against unfair treatments to colored people,women ,animals and so on.But today I will talk about fighting for the rights of the natural.
Always we complain about the environment being destoried by our human-beings seriously,but most of us have not noticed we ourseleves are part of the polluters,too.For example.On one hand we advocate not litter here and there,on the other hand,we often wrap ice-cream papers on the ground optionally.For instance,some factory managers build their houses in the country with beautiful scenery nearby,but at the same time their factories is pouring dirty water into the river secretly...Thus,although everyday we are call in others to improve the environmental consciousness,the pollution to the environment,the hurt to animals in danger occurs still.
There are many problems about environmental protection in recent years.The most serious problems are the serious pollution of air,water and soil we live by.Although the environment doesn't have a mouth to deprecate what humans have done to her,she retaliates through action.
Moreover,in the early years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees,at the source of the yellow river,which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods.As a result,the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants.Another example was in several developed countries.Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it,cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in.The polluted air does great harm to people’s health.The polluted water causes diseases and death.What is more,vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.
What horrible scene!What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature once suffered.If we don't take measures to show our respect to the environment,I am sure that we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.
In my opinion,Since we are all looking forward to beautiful surroundings,why can't we make and protect it ourselves?Many people always blame on others who pollute the environment but they forget he himself is one of the polluter,too!As we all know,We have only one Earth,we are not the conquer of natural but the son of her together with a lot of other creatures.If they are damaged,without our brothers and sisters,how can we live then?Therefore,Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we are relying on .
The environment must be linked with the social ethics.Everyone must fulfil his responsibilities and obligations to protect the environment.
And at last ,I'd like to say,Only by changing the way we treat the environment can we get along well with it.Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves.!
